Dear Representative Forbes,
I am a resident in your 4th Congressional District. I am writing to you as your constituent to ask you to co-sponsor Rep. Graves’ H.R. 2682 bill to STOP funding for Obamacare, as well as signing the Rep. Meadows letter on defunding that will let us know you share our concerns.
My daughter is disabled and requires 24 hour care. She is on Medicare and Medicaid. At her last visit, her doctor said that she was of the age to start receiving mammograms, but that a “cost/benefit ratio” would need to be done to determine whether she will qualify to receive one. Also, several of her caretakers have indicated that they can no longer work more than 29 hours a week because of ObamaCare. I have no doubt that this is just the beginning of what is coming to all of us under this law.
One in 9 women will get breast cancer at some point and we all need to be screened. My daughter is not a budget item. She is a human being and shame on us if we treat people this way. I am very afraid of what will happen in the future if we let the government run our healthcare system. I am also worried about people, like my daughter’s caretakers, losing their jobs because of Obamacare, plus the effect that has on people who depend on them.
The predictions that were made about Obamacare are already coming true. It is time to stop this now. Please help by stopping Obamacare funding in the continuing resolution, and signing the Meadows letter. I and many others will be very grateful.
I would appreciate receiving your response to my letter.
